For The Aviation Fans

Because I want everyone to be happy, I’m posting this photo of a B-18/F-22 Raptofortress which was also rebadged and sold behind the Iron Curtain as a B-14 Stroatohornet.

The Beechcraft Model 19 Sport sounds exactly like a really upset piglet.

(Note: Mrs. Curmudgeon tells me that taunting OCD folks with fixed wing licenses is a bad idea because they’re smarter than me. She’s right.)

I can’t help myself:

The AMC F-18 was a budget level automobile back when Pac Man was new technology.

This is now officially my favorite blog.

And you don’t need a license if they don’t catch you.

  2. I caught your faux pas about the F22 hornet, but being in a hurry (wife in hospital) I didn’t comment about it. I like the AMC F18. I wanted on and it’s ugly little brother the F4 Gremlin.

Too bad I didn’t catch this until EAA’s Airventure Week….(difficult to miss, since B-17s and B-25s have been buzzing my house all week).

You ARE bad. Mrs. C. is a saint. And don’t get me started about my miraculously salvaged Hornet. I loved that beast. I may have to start a blog.

    • “Salvaged” Hornet? I’m assuming the wheeled version?

      • rapnzl rn says:

The four-wheeled AMC version, yes. The single greatest understatement in American automotive history. Makes me feel badly about your experience with a Gremlin.

(Any more detail and I WILL have to start my own blog.) But thanks for asking!
